On our fourth week thing got a little better. We had made major progress on all three of our songs, Julian came up with an awesome verse for our Gorillaz acoustic. Then we remembered that we had to come up with an original song. So we thought up lyrics and melody , but the melody was more R&B so we left it there. Our mystery Jets song was becoming are best song and was the most rehearsed. Me and Deanna came up with a harmonized section for cant stop song in a matter of minutes

On our third week we got working on our mystery Jets song. we began to work on finding out the chords for the intro. It was an was quite a lengthy process but we got there in the end. We also made a start on the Cant stop by the red hot chilli pepper were worked out the the intro as-well. Tariq figured out the guitar part in seconds. But other than that we need our work rate to be a little bit higher. Some times its hard for me a deanna to contribute because we don’t play their instruments so we have just focus on our own parts.

On the second week of our rock assignment we cut some songs a finalized what songs we wanted to do. We found out that we couldn’t do Linkin Park acoustic - what I’ve done , because another group chose that song. Thats when Deanna showed us the Mystery Jets song that complimented our sound. The first song we began to work on was Cant Stop by The Red Hot Chilli peppers. It didnt go well and we had many unneeded breaks with people chatting about thing that were irrelevant. So next time we really need to get into our songs then practice them intensely.

In our first week of our rock assignment we gathered together the songs we wanted to do many song came into duscussion like Scorpions - Rock Me like a hurricane, Janet Jackson - Black and songs like Ozzy Osbourne but we narrowed ot down to three songs songs and the first song we chose was Gorillaz- Feel Good because we felt it was an alternitave style of rock and we enjoyed the bass line. The second song we picked Cant Stop by Red Hot Chilli Peppers which we thought would suit our sound. And the third song we chose for our acoustic was Iinkin Park what i’ve done.
